Associate Actuary (ASA Certified)

Job Summary

To support a growing actuarial team, the full-time remote Associate Actuary (ASA Certified) will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes while managing health plan-specific actuarial needs and producing reports to aid in corporate strategy development.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all actuarial-related activities for assigned contracts
• Analyze various data reports, identify trends and gaps, and recommend actions based on findings
• Support the development and maintenance of financial models for Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts

Required qualifications

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or equivalent international certification
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of actuarial experience
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python
• Knowledge of financial principles and statistical analysis
