Job Summary
Supporting the development and maintenance of Hanover's Economic Capital Model, the full-time remote Associate Actuary, Capital Modeling will analyze model assumptions, perform enterprise risk quantification, and partner with various departments to enhance capital management tools.
Key responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, governance, and ongoing enhancement of Hanover's Economic Capital Model (ECM)
- Conduct enterprise risk quantification, stochastic modeling, and capital adequacy analyses across various risks
- Analyze the capital implications of strategic initiatives and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
Required qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with experience in capital modeling and risk assessment
- Proficiency in stochastic modeling techniques
- Experience in financial analysis and capital allocation frameworks
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant actuarial credentials or progress towards obtaining them
