Associate Actuary, Life Pricing

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary for Life Pricing and Group Benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, price, and implement Life Insurance products while balancing profitability, marketability, and risk
• Lead Group Benefits reporting requirements and manage assumption development and state filings for Traditional Life products
• Review emerging experience and adjust assumptions and pricing as necessary, collaborating cross-functionally

Required Qualifications

• New FSA preferred; Career ASA or near FSA with 5+ years of experience will be considered
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
• Proficient in at least one actuarial pricing projection software, ideally PROPHET or AXIS
• Demonstrated technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computer programming (VBA, C++)
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
