Associate Actuary - Model Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary - Model Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Prophet model development and testing for various product types, adhering to Model Risk Management policies
• Act as a subject matter expert on life insurance and/or annuity modeling and collaborate with stakeholders on model changes
• Document processes, compile and analyze data, and provide guidance and training to other actuarial associates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 4-7 years of related actuarial experience
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial model architecture and development using FIS Prophet
• Understanding of insurance products, actuarial theory, and industry regulations
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation is desired
