Associate Actuary - Virginia Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Development Program Associate Actuary for LTC Strategic Initiatives Assumptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and update analysis in Excel to support AG51 requirements and management requests
• Run AXIS model sensitivities and analyze historical and projected claim trends
• Collaborate with teammates on special projects and provide ad hoc actuarial analysis as needed

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related major
• 3+ years of experience in the actuarial field
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• Proven modeling and analytical skills, with strong Excel proficiency
• Experience using SQL, Python, and/or SAS
