Associate Appian Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Associate Appian Developer will collaborate with a team to design and implement features using the Appian low-code platform while contributing to Agile processes and mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Envision, design, and implement new features based on the prioritized product backlog
• Participate in Agile meetings, including User Story grooming and Sprint Planning, while providing estimates for upcoming sprints
• Unit test developed features and conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality and functionality meet end-user needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or other IT-related degree
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government's Public Trust security clearance
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions using Appian
• Strong skills in Appian development and debugging, with a good understanding of SQL and databases
• Experience with recent Appian versions (22.x or later)
