Associate Architect
Job Summary
Supporting the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, the full-time Associate Architect will focus on architecture, technical direction, and proof-of-concept work for an eCommerce platform, while overseeing implementation by developers and AI agents in a 100% remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and prepare technical and process recommendations and project estimates under the Lead Architect's guidance
- Translate business requirements into system requirements and design specifications, documenting requirements and flagging interface issues
- Write high-level code for proof-of-concepts and architectural spikes, guiding developers in the implementation process
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent, with a working understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers and React, or a strong interest in these technologies
- Experience with web analytics and CDP integrations, and comfort writing SQL against a data warehouse
