Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Associate Benefits Advocate will manage member inquiries, resolve eligibility issues, and review bills and claims for accuracy while providing exceptional support through the Nava Benefits app.
Key responsibilities
- Own the member inquiry queue, responding within a 1-business-day SLA and providing updates on pending cases
- Resolve eligibility issues by collaborating directly with carriers and vendors to ensure covered benefits are honored
- Review and address discrepancies in bills and claims, and assist members with benefits coverage questions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a benefits brokerage in a direct member-facing or service role
- Proven ability to navigate carrier calls and effectively escalate issues
- Experience managing a high-volume queue, particularly during open enrollment seasons
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- Comfort with technology and a self-managing work style; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
