Associate Category Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the category management team, the remote Associate Category Manager will assist in managing and growing strategic product categories, execute merchandising strategies, and provide analytical insights to enhance category performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of category strategies and performance metrics
• Execute core merchandising functions, including item setup and lifecycle management
• Analyze product performance and provide actionable recommendations to meet sales and margin goals

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• Strong analytical skills with experience in sales, pricing, and inventory data
• Negotiation experience and knowledge of vendor negotiation techniques
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
