Associate Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a cloud-native, event-driven platform built on AWS, the remote Associate Cloud Engineer will implement microservices, integrate with Kafka/MSK event streams, and enable real-time data delivery through WebSocket-based user interfaces while collaborating with an experienced engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native microservices for appointment and scheduling workflows
• Develop and maintain Kafka/MSK event producers and consumers for event-driven data flows
• Build and integrate real-time WebSocket-based streaming solutions for live UI updates

Required qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of Kafka/MSK and real-time data streaming technologies
• Proficiency in containerization using Kubernetes and Docker
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
