Associate Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting and enhancing the cloud infrastructure and Databricks platform, the remote Associate Cloud Platform Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers on cloud improvement initiatives and ensure the stability and performance of critical cloud systems in a contract-to-hire role.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Databricks platform, ensuring its stability, performance, and scalability
• Assist in developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and user access management
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
