Associate Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting and enhancing the cloud infrastructure, the remote Associate Cloud Platform Engineer will maintain the Databricks platform, collaborate on cloud improvement initiatives, and assist in developing CI/CD pipelines in a contract-to-hire capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Databricks platform to ensure stability, performance, and scalability
• Assist in the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and user access management
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
