Associate Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a Fortune 500 Healthcare Insurance Client, the remote contract-to-hire Associate Cloud Platform Engineer will enhance cloud infrastructure and the Databricks platform while collaborating with senior engineers on cloud improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Databricks platform, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability
- Assist in the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure scripting
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure tasks
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (nice to have)
