Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting compliance and government contracting operations, the full-time remote Associate Counsel will assist with federal contracts, employment law matters, and general legal support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance public good initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the review, negotiation, and administration of federal government contracts and compliance monitoring
• Provide day-to-day employment law support, including reviewing employment agreements and resolving employee relations matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues, maintaining organized records and updating legal policies

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 2-3 years of post-bar legal experience in employment law, government contracts, or a combination of both
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal employment laws
• Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear guidance
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in ambiguous environments
