Job Summary
Supporting compliance and government contracting operations, the full-time remote Associate Counsel will assist with federal contracts, employment law matters, and general legal support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance public good initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the review, negotiation, and administration of federal government contracts and compliance monitoring
- Provide day-to-day employment law support, including reviewing employment agreements and resolving employee relations matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues, maintaining organized records and updating legal policies
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 2-3 years of post-bar legal experience in employment law, government contracts, or a combination of both
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal employment laws
- Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear guidance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in ambiguous environments
