Associate Counsel - CA Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to provide legal services and support in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal services and collaborate with legal colleagues to address complex legal challenges
• Conduct research, draft legal opinions, and review contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Serve as the primary legal contact for hospital administrative teams, providing guidance on legal matters

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related legal field
• Admission to the California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Alaska, Montana, or New Mexico State Bar within one year of hire
• Experience with healthcare law areas such as Stark Law, Anti-kickback Statute, and HIPAA
• Ability to work collaboratively with a legal team and other stakeholders
