Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to provide legal services and support in healthcare law.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal services and collaborate with legal colleagues to address complex challenges
• Conduct research and draft legal opinions while supervising non-malpractice litigation strategies
• Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and offering guidance to administrative teams

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related legal field
• Bar admission to California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Alaska, Montana, or New Mexico within one year of hire
• Experience with healthcare law areas such as Stark Law, Anti-kickback Statute, and HIPAA
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide timely legal solutions
