Associate Counsel, Technology (JD Required)

Job Summary

Providing legal support for fintech, trading evaluation, and tech offerings, the full-time Associate Counsel, Technology (JD Required) will focus on regulatory compliance in data privacy and cybersecurity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on product development matters impacting the engineering team
• Advise on data privacy and cybersecurity issues, including potential data security incidents
• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, licensing agreements, and user-facing documentation

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 4-6 years of legal experience focusing on technology transactions and data privacy compliance
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related commercial agreements
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide practical legal advice
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and document management systems
