Associate Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data operations, the full-time Associate Data Engineer will create and execute Spark and SQL scripts for data management, optimize queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute Spark and SQL scripts for data management and validation
• Optimize queries to enhance the efficiency of daily tasks and perform data analysis to identify issues
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines while adhering to compliance rules to ensure data integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 0-2 years of working knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, S3, Kafka)
• 0-2 years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Azure)
• 0-2 years of working knowledge of RDBMS and experience using SQL or ETL tools
• 0-2 years of data analysis experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
