Associate Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the data engineering team, the full-time Associate Data Engineer will handle operational tasks, resolve support tickets, and conduct discovery work remotely, contributing to the reliability and quality of healthcare data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle support tickets and operational issues, investigating root causes and coordinating resolutions with senior engineers
• Perform KTLO tasks including monitoring pipeline health, validating data quality, and investigating data anomalies
• Conduct data source discovery and profiling, documenting data structure and identifying quality issues for integration recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong SQL proficiency for writing queries to explore, validate, and analyze data
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language, with comfort in writing scripts and automation
• Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipeline architecture
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices
