Associate Data Science Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Data Science Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced actuarial and analytical skills for the development of commercial data solutions
• Lead the design and interpretation of end-to-end models focused on risk scores
• Evaluate and explore new external data sources for innovative applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• FSA accreditation or equivalent
• 6+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance
• 2+ years of statistical modeling experience for insurance applications
• Proficiency in statistical programs/languages (R or Python) and database applications (SQL, Snowflake, Oracle)
