Associate Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining the client's data infrastructure, including various database systems and storage solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot database issues and implement new database servers and upgrades
• Participate in on-call rotation and perform database maintenance tasks such as backups and data imports/exports

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in Database Administration, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working in a software application production environment
• Knowledge of database monitoring tools and performance troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure, and database deployment on cloud infrastructure
