Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Dean for the Division of Justice, Security, and Public Safety Professions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for academic programs, ensuring curriculum effectiveness and compliance with accreditation standards
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of credit and non-credit programs while collaborating with stakeholders to align with workforce needs
• Deliver online instruction and foster a supportive learning environment for adult learners, prioritizing student success and engagement

Required Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in a relevant discipline
• At least five years of progressive experience in higher education leadership, including teaching and academic leadership in online or hybrid environments
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues in higher education and experience with academic assessment practices
• Evidence of experience in leading curriculum development and student achievement initiatives
• Commitment to fostering a student-centered Culture of Care that promotes access and proactive support
