Associate Director, Clinical Operations

Job Summary

To support and optimize the operational infrastructure of the clinical development organization, the full-time remote Associate Director, Clinical Business Operations will manage vendor outsourcing, financial oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clinical operations and data management teams to author RFPs and define vendor scopes of work
• Lead bid defense meetings, analyze proposals, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
• Manage the negotiation and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements and investigator budgets, ensuring rapid study startup

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, healthcare administration, finance, or related discipline
• 7-9+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences with a focus on clinical outsourcing and finance
• Demonstrated experience in clinical budgeting and vendor financial management
• Strong understanding of clinical development processes and CRO/vendor management
• Proven ability to influence across functions and operate effectively with senior leadership
