Associate Director, Clinical Strategy

Job Summary

To support biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies, the full-time remote Associate Director, Clinical Strategy will oversee clinical project teams, drive the implementation of Risk Based Monitoring strategies, and manage project financial performance while providing mentorship to team members.

Key responsibilities

• Participates in Proposal Development for Clinical Operations, ensuring appropriate Risk Based Monitoring strategies are implemented
• Oversees clinical project teams, providing support and mentoring while managing project-specific corrective and preventative actions
• Monitors financial performance of projects, identifying overburn and out-of-scope activities, and collaborating with Project Management on contingency measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of eight years of clinical research experience, with at least five years in Clinical Trial Management or Project Management roles
• Strong understanding of clinical operations delivery from start-up to close-out
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities
• Proven ability to negotiate and address critical issues proactively
