Associate Director, DevOps Platform

Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction of the Global DevOps and Observability Platform, the full-time Associate Director, DevOps Platform will unify global engineering efforts, oversee GitHub Enterprise governance, and establish a comprehensive observability strategy while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Unify global innovation by integrating localized engineering successes into a centralized platform
• Define and execute the multi-year strategic roadmap for DevOps and Observability capabilities aligned with business objectives
• Lead and mentor a global team of platform and reliability engineers, fostering a high-performance culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Observability, or Platform Engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and CI/CD architectural patterns
• Proven track record in scaling enterprise-grade Observability tools across multi-cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
