Associate Director, Editorial Booker

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Editorial Booker, to support editorial booking and production of newsmaking events.

Key Responsibilities

• Book senior leaders for various Axios Live programming events
• Liaise with the newsroom and leadership to secure interviews and manage logistics
• Ensure events meet editorial standards and reflect diverse perspectives

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of booking/media experience, ideally in a newsroom environment
• Experience booking and working with high-profile influencers and newsmakers
• Strong interest and knowledge in news trends and the daily news cycle
• Ability to brainstorm and build out a full show program
• Familiarity with media, Capitol Hill, or political campaigns is a plus
