Associate Director, Medical Review

Job Summary

To support the training of Medical Science Liaisons, the full-time Associate Director, Medical Review will serve as a medical subject matter expert, ensuring the accuracy of promotional materials and providing clinical guidance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific validity and compliance
• Deliver training on disease state and clinical trial data to Medical Science Liaisons
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain medical accuracy and alignment with approved labeling and treatment guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP or equivalent) with 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience in GI and/or nephrology preferred
• Expertise in evaluating clinical literature and interpreting scientific data
• Strong understanding of medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders
