Associate Director, Medical Writing

Job Summary

To support the production of high-quality medical publications, the remote contract Associate Director, Medical Writing will provide expert writing and editing support, manage data interpretation, and oversee publication strategies while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide writing and editing support for documents intended for medical/scientific publication
• Manage and review data and source documents necessary for publication
• Engage with authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans and oversee outsourced medical writers

Required qualifications

• A PhD, MD, or PharmD with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience
• Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Project management experience is preferred
