Associate Director of Advancement

Job Summary

To support AJC's mission in Palm Beach County, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Advancement will build relationships with donors and community leaders, inspire philanthropic giving, and create impactful events that engage the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate meaningful connections with donors, prospects, and community leaders through innovative outreach strategies
• Identify, solicit, and steward philanthropic prospects for AJC's programs and events
• Plan and execute engaging programs and fundraisers to inspire support for AJC's mission

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in fundraising and donor cultivation with a bachelor's degree or advanced degree
• Knowledge and passion for Jewish issues, Israel, and the philanthropic community in Palm Beach County
• Strong communication skills to engage and inspire diverse audiences
• Creativity and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A sense of humor and a passion for making a difference
