Associate Director of Analytics

Job Summary

Combining technical expertise with strong relationship-building skills, the full-time Associate Director of Analytics will manage complex analytics initiatives and data solution projects remotely, driving a data-driven culture and optimizing decision-making processes at the Conservancy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute analytics initiatives and roadmaps in collaboration with IT and other functions
• Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions based on data insights
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to design and implement technical solutions while fostering a culture of data literacy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 6 years of experience in programming and systems design, or equivalent combination
• Proficiency in building visualizations and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, AWS Quick Sight, or similar BI tools
• Experience with data modeling, governance principles, and enterprise self-service analytics
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Databricks, and data manipulation concepts
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment
