Associate Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

To support hematology studies, the full-time remote Associate Director of Biostatistics will manage the development and implementation of statistical analysis plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide statistical support for clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Develops study protocols and statistical analysis plans while determining appropriate statistical methodologies for data analysis
• Collaborates with statistical programming staff to ensure compliance with analysis requirements and regulatory standards
• Analyzes clinical trial data and prepares reports to communicate results effectively to project teams and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• A minimum of a PhD in Statistics or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience in clinical drug development
• Experience with clinical trials and knowledge of regulatory guidance are required; oncology experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of SAS and/or R is strongly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience in research activities related to innovative statistical methods in clinical trial development
