Associate Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

To support a growing Biostatistics team, the full-time Associate Director of Biostatistics will perform statistical research tasks, focusing on the planning and analysis of patient-reported outcomes and clinical outcome assessments, while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and potentially working in a hybrid or fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document statistical analyses for clinical trials and observational studies, emphasizing patient-reported outcomes
• Develop statistical analysis plans and contribute to the writing of study reports, protocols, and proposals
• Mentor less experienced staff and ensure the quality and timeliness of statistical analyses and programming outputs

Required qualifications

• Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience, or PhD with at least 1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated programming skills in SAS, including experience developing reproducible analysis pipelines
• Experience analyzing patient-reported outcome data in clinical trials, including application to the estimand framework
• Background in biostatistics or related quantitative disciplines
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory environments
