Associate Director of Communications

Job Summary

To advance strategic communications for the North America Region, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Communications will manage internal and external communications initiatives, collaborate with leadership teams, and support organizational alignment with TNC's 2030 goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic communications plan for the North America Region office
• Create critical communications collateral, including talking points and FAQs, to support internal and external messaging
• Provide strategic counsel and media preparation for senior leaders, ensuring effective communication during high-impact moments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Experience in developing complex integrated strategic communications plans
• Proven ability to cultivate and manage relationships with senior-level executives and media
• Experience supporting earned media efforts, including preparing executives for media engagements
• Demonstrated success in measuring results of strategic plans and programs
