Associate Director of Conservation Operations

Job Summary

Supporting the Conservation Division's operational efficiency, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Conservation Operations will manage grants and financial operations, ensuring compliance and effective processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Finance and Grants Management to ensure compliance with enterprise processes and systems
• Support the development of grant proposal budgets and track conservation team-level budgets
• Oversee procurement and contracting activities, ensuring adherence to legal and procedural standards

Required qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of experience in managing budgets, grants, and contracts, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core enterprise software tools (accounting, budgeting, project management, and/or CRM)
