Associate Director of Development

Job Summary

Leading nonprofit fundraising and communications efforts, the full-time Associate Director of Development will develop strategies, provide expert consultation, and manage multiple client projects remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising and communications strategies for nonprofit clients
• Assist clients in securing funding, drafting proposals, and enhancing donor relationships
• Oversee multiple client projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality consulting services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, journalism, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, communications, or media, with a focus on journalism preferred
• Proven track record of developing successful fundraising and communications strategies
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in grant writing and donor relations
