Associate Director of Grid Integration

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Grid Integration to develop and execute generation and large load interconnection strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate tariffs and manage generator and load interconnection requests across PJM, MISO, and NYISO
• Lead interconnection due diligence for acquisition opportunities and assess deliverability risk and upgrade costs
• Represent the company in ISO/RTO stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships with key external partners

Required Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
• 6+ years of applicable professional experience in managing interconnection processes
• Strong technical understanding of power system analysis concepts and interconnection risk assessment
• Familiarity with grid modeling and geospatial analysis tools preferred
• Proven ability to coordinate technical work across internal and external stakeholders
