Associate Director of Life Cycle Assessment
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Life Cycle Assessment will lead complex LCA engagements, shape innovative approaches for emerging contexts, and translate analysis into actionable insights for clients, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex LCA engagements from approach and methodology through delivery, ensuring technical rigor and alignment with relevant standards
- Shape innovative LCA approaches for new technologies, circular systems, and evolving value chains
- Translate LCA results into clear recommendations for C-suite executives and sustainability leaders
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on LCA experience across multiple sectors
- Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong command of SimaPro, OpenLCA, and Excel; experience with GaBi is a plus
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/14044, GHG Protocol, and relevant industry frameworks
- Experience with GHG inventories and corporate carbon footprinting
