Associate Director of Major Giving

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Major Giving East, DMV.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of 75-100 high-net-worth individuals through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Participate in prospect discovery and qualify prospects through research and relationship mapping
• Design engagement opportunities and strategic correspondence to deepen donor relationships and increase giving

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive fundraising experience or sales, including direct solicitation of donors or clients
• Demonstrated expertise in major gifts fundraising or private sector fundraising
• Experience managing and mentoring frontline fundraisers
• Proven track record of closing five and six-figure gifts
• Knowledge of the philanthropic community in the Washington DC metro area
