Associate Director of Medical Publications

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Global Medical Publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of scientific publications
• Manage preferred vendors and budgets related to publication activities
• Ensure compliance with publication guidelines and work within a global, cross-functional matrix environment

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent preferred)
• 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical communications agency
• Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in scientific publications
• Strong working knowledge of GPP, ICMJE, and relevant publication guidelines
• Experience in managing vendors and budgets
