Associate Director of Medical Publications

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Global Medical Publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of scientific publications in the pharmaceutical industry
• Manage relationships with preferred vendors and oversee publication budgets
• Collaborate within a global, cross-functional matrix environment to ensure compliance with publication guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent preferred)
• 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical communications agency
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in scientific publications
• Strong working knowledge of GPP, ICMJE, and relevant publication guidelines
• Experience in managing vendors and budgets in a complex environment
