Associate Director of Operations

Job Summary

As a senior partner to the Vice President of Global Patient Safety, the full-time remote Associate Director of Operations will lead a team in driving strategic planning, operational support, and accountability across the department while translating organizational priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a thought partner to the VP of Global Patient Safety and GPS Executive Leadership Team, shaping priorities and translating strategy into action
• Lead and develop a team of Strategic Planning and Operations colleagues, ensuring aligned priorities and consistent execution across the department
• Manage the GPS operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, business reviews, and decision forums to drive accountability and progress

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 5 years, or Bachelor's degree and 7 years, or Associate's degree and 12 years, or High school diploma/GED and 14 years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting senior executives or executive leadership teams in enterprise planning or business operations roles
• Proven ability to lead Strategic Planning and Operations teams or similar functions
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, or related areas
• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to develop narratives and presentations for senior audiences
