Associate Director of Pediatrics

Job Summary

To support the new Chair of Pediatrics, the full-time remote Associate Director of Pediatrics will manage the development and submission of funding proposals, oversee project monitoring, and cultivate new donor relationships while providing mentorship and training to program staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and write proposals for extramural funding in collaboration with various departments
• Monitor project progress, track expenditures, and anticipate necessary changes in project scope or funding
• Manage program operations, including budgeting, policy implementation, and strategic planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Clinical background in nursing and medical oncology research or health outcomes research
• Experience in developing and implementing solutions for complex problems across multiple functional areas
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, Principal Investigators, and external funding agencies
• Experience in training and mentoring staff to enhance research operations
