Associate Director of Project Management

Job Summary

To drive operational excellence across a portfolio of integrated healthcare marketing projects, the full-time Associate Director of Project Management will lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, oversee resource planning and budgets, and collaborate with senior account and agency leaders, with the option to work remotely or from Morristown, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and train Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to ensure they can effectively manage complex projects
• Develop schedules, budgets, and scopes of work for projects, auditing the work of other PMs for quality and compliance
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior account leads, engaging in high-level discussions to align business goals with project execution

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of agency experience managing projects, particularly in high-volume pharmaceutical accounts
• Proven management experience with a focus on developing PM staff careers
• Strong client-facing skills and comfort interacting with senior agency leaders
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising for US and global pharmaceutical brands, including Medical Legal Submission requirements
• Experience with agile methodologies and managing multiple complex projects involving cross-functional teams
