Associate Director of Prospect Research

Job Summary

Leading high-value research initiatives, the full-time Associate Director of Prospect Research will manage a team focused on developing actionable research plans and strategic relationships to enhance fundraising efforts, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Co-develop and deliver annual and long-term strategies for Prospect Research & Management (PRM) aligned with organizational fundraising priorities
• Oversee the production of confidential profiles on high-net-worth individual (HNWI) donors and prospects, ensuring quality and integration with fundraising strategies
• Drive innovation in research methodologies and tools, mentoring team members and ensuring continuous improvement across PRM operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred
• Expertise in research and database management, particularly with Salesforce
• Strong experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis relevant to non-profit fundraising strategy
• Proficiency in PRM subscription tools and fundraising software
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts and develop actionable research plans
