Associate Director of R&D Finance

Job Summary

Driving integrated financial management for R&D projects, the full-time Associate Director of R&D Finance will oversee financial control, governance, and performance insights while managing Clinical Trial Finance and Early Development Project Finance teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistent financial management across R&D projects, integrating financial planning and reporting
• Deliver decision-ready financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support R&D leadership and project teams
• Lead and develop the R&D Project Finance team, ensuring high-quality outputs and alignment with enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• Substantial experience in accounting and/or finance, particularly in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; knowledge of Oracle is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
