Associate Director of Research Analytics

Job Summary

To advance data-driven decision-making across the University's research enterprise, the full-time Associate Director of Research Analytics will transform complex research administration data into actionable insights through analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization, while leading a team of Business Intelligence Analysts and collaborating with stakeholders to promote a culture of data-informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of research analytics strategies for institutional planning and operational decision-making
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Oversee institutional reporting efforts and partner with various teams to improve data models and analytics capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of five years of experience in data analytics or a related field
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau
