Associate Director of Scientific Communications

Job Summary

To support the Scientific Communications team, the remote Associate Director of Scientific Communications will develop and implement scientific communication strategies, manage publication plans for Fabry and Pompe diseases, and ensure high-quality scientific outputs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute scientific communication plans for assigned product areas
• Research, draft, and edit scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations, ensuring adherence to publication guidelines
• Manage agency and contract medical writers, ensuring all outputs meet medical and scientific integrity standards

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or higher) in life or health sciences
• 7 or more years of relevant experience in scientific communications or medical writing within a pharmaceutical setting
• 2 or more years of experience managing direct reports is preferred
