Associate Director of Scientific Programs

Job Summary

To lead and develop the Scientific Program Management function, the full-time remote Associate Director of Scientific Programs will establish practices and standards for program execution, oversee a team of Scientific Program Managers, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities while managing risks and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across the portfolio to promote consistent and effective execution of scientific programs
• Establish and continuously improve the operating model for Scientific Program Management, including roles, responsibilities, and standards
• Manage and develop the Scientific Program Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in scientific program management, including leading complex programs
• 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing program management professionals
• Demonstrated experience in building or improving a Program Management function
• Strong judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
