Associate Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

To support growth initiatives within Optum Whole Health Solutions, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Strategic Finance will manage the long-range financial model, evaluate new business ideas, and deliver financial insights to senior leadership, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the management of the long-range model to assist senior leadership in developing and executing a five-year growth trajectory
• Drive growth initiatives by rigorously evaluating new ideas in collaboration with product and technology teams
• Translate complex product concepts into actionable financial models to support investment decisions and strategic planning

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or business development
• Proven experience in driving growth initiatives, including new product development and market expansion
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-range business or financial plans aligned with enterprise strategy
• Experience in evaluating complex business opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis and investment prioritization
• Healthcare experience or experience in a large, matrixed environment is preferred
