Associate Director of Strategy

Job Summary

To support a growing strategy practice, the full-time Associate Director of Strategy will lead significant strategy workstreams, develop actionable recommendations, and build trusted relationships with clients in a hybrid work environment across Chicago and New York.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clarity to complex client challenges by translating research and data into strategic implications and recommendations
• Lead strategy workstreams independently, ensuring organization and focus while managing risks and open questions
• Shape clear strategic deliverables that connect insights to creative outcomes, including brand identity and messaging

Required qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with 6-9 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, or a related discipline
• Experience in developing insights and strategic recommendations, including client-ready deliverables
• Proficiency in foundational strategy tools and methods, including qualitative and quantitative research
• Ability to manage significant workstreams and collaborate across disciplines
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with comfort in navigating ambiguity across various clients and categories
